The idea for this print popped into my head after vending at my first Philadelphia Flower Show. I've seen many variations of this idea, but not in modern style before! Here it is- The Alphabet in Bloom, a silkscreen print featuring original modern illustrations of a different bloom from every letter of the English alphabet. It's arranged in a way that is reminiscent of a colorful pattern of tiles. The flowers features are as follows:
Anemone flower, Bleeding Heart, Columbine flower, Dahlia flower, Echinacea flower AKA Coneflower, Forget-Me-Not flower, Gerbera flower, Hellebore AKA Lenten Rose, Iris, Jasmine flower, Kalmia, Lobelia, Mallow flower, Narcissus AKA Daffodil flower, Orchid, Pansy, Queen's Cup, Rudbeckia, Sweet William flower, Trillium flower, Ursinia, Violet flower, Wisteria, Xeranthemum, Yucca flower, and Zinnia flower.
