This print represents fun- but more so, love and acceptance. Back when I was in undergrad, we would play around with a silkscreen technique called "split fountain" printing. This is when you put multiple ink colors on the screen at one time and let them mix together while printing to create smooth rainbows of color. I had revisited the technique to make this print, but through to myself- could I create a rainbow as well? Because of the nature of split fountain printing, each print is slightly different, making them truly one-of-a-kind.
