This original art print has been YEARS in the making! Originally conceived a decade ago on good ol' pen and paper, I brought it into the digital age back in 2019 when I started drawing on my iPad. This technology finally allowed me to add a full range of color in a fraction of the time it used to take me.
Full disclosure: I tried printing this art print as a silkscreen print. It was conceived as a 7 color print, a complexity I had not attempted to do in years. I got through nearly all the colors and realized that it wouldn't be lining up- the entire run was a wash. I was devastated.
After the stack of "rejects" sat around my studio for a long while, I began looking at them differently and realized they were beautiful in their own way. Normally, I work very tight and like everything to line up perfectly. These prints were "perfectly imperfect," and more painterly. And so, I decided to release them as a limited edition series. This listing is for the edition that has 6 printed colors.
